The Tupelo Middle School Band is where young musicians take their passion for music to the next level. Composed of dedicated 7th and 8th-grade students in their second and third years of band, this program builds upon the strong foundation established in beginning band. The band is divided into two ensembles: the Gold Band, an invitation-only group for students who demonstrate exceptional musicianship and discipline, and the Blue Band, where students continue to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Under the expert direction of our band staff, students refine their technique, gain valuable performance experience, and build confidence through concerts, competitions, and special events. The Tupelo Middle School Band is more than just music; it’s a place where students grow, achieve, and create lasting memories.
