The Tupelo Public School District is proud to uphold a tradition of excellence through our outstanding band program, led by Directors Dustin Thrasher, Christopher Knox, Kelli Wallace, Raven thompson, Rylee Whitehead, and Emily Hercules. From the first notes played in sixth grade to the final triumphant performance as a senior, our students experience remarkable growth—musically, academically, and personally. Rooted in discipline, teamwork, and passion, the Tupelo band program consistently achieves the highest standards of performance, fostering leadership, confidence, and lifelong friendships. As a cornerstone of our district, the band program is more than music; it’s a transformative journey that shapes students into dedicated musicians and well-rounded individuals, preparing them for success on and off the field.
